Live Music: Little Chair/Boys Club/Madisinn

Little chair was started in college, we play fuzzy pop music and sometimes punk. We didn’t really know how to play our instruments when we started, but much progress has been made along the way. We have a lot of fun playing shows together and making CDs and drawing little guys to put on our covers. Everyone sorta plays in little chair and switches around on instruments depending on who’s available.
Born from two microphones, a drum machine, and hard cider, Boys Club presents a vulnerable side of low fidelity rock to reclaim the eccentricities of the genre for the queer community. Boys Club is a lack of identity, a veil of androgyny cloaked in a wizard costume.
Madisinn is the solo project of Texas-born, NC native singer-songwriter Madison Grifaldo. Madisinn always dreamed of a world full of rich harmonies & whimsical instrumentation, so she created it. Her music has been described as “nurtured in a world closely occupied by beautiful voices” & “lavender and velvet lullaby voice.” She however describes it as a mixture of everything she loves and feels. Madisinn draws her vocal influences from her classical upbringing in music to her love for great American songwriting ( Judee Sill, Janis Ian, Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, etc).
