Live Music: Medium Heat w/ Electric Lady Man

Medium Heat is a rock or indie rock band from Raleigh. They rock hard, medium, and soft original songs to inspire dynamic shoulder movement, heal bouncing, knee bending, arm waving, hand dancing, snorkeling, kite rental, all you can eat breakfast buffet, amenities, and more. They don’t jam, but it’s groovy.

Electric Lady Man is a Raleigh band featuring veterans of past/current bands Phononova, Savage Knights, Baamphf!, The Volcanoes, 17956, Dzu Teh, Olympus Mons, Manos and others. They have mashed this baggage and various other nonsense picked up along the way into driving rock songs that reference stoner rock, southern rock, post-punk, among other junk. Their music is heavy, absurd and gleefully irate. Electric Lady Man members are Chris Pilione (guitar, vocals), Scott Gilliam (bass), Steve Graham (guitar, vocals) and Mike Isenberg (drums).
