Impulse Machine is an arts and media collective based out of central North Carolina. Music makes up the heart of their creative output; their eclectic output has drawn comparisons to artists as diverse as Nine Inch Nails, Tom Waits, and Mr. Bungle, while their intense and theatric live shows have attracted an enthusiastic following in the regional scene and beyond.

Since the misty dawn of prehistoric times there are those who itch, and those who do not. Let those who itch, rejoice! For your itchiness will drive you to great things. Recently, three of the worlds itchiest souls have joined together; bonded by a desire to infect others with the itchiness they can no longer contain or conquer. Beware the sound of their approach; for it is filled with heavy rumbles and mighty squeals.
