Cigarettes @ Sunset is a band that hails from the mountains of North Carolina consisting of Garrett Dellinger, Sarah Vann, Ryland Bagbey, Wells Whitman, and Ethan Moore. A sound that merges Appalachian angst with pop, outlaw country, and punk. Since 2021, they’ve been touring regularly through the east coast with such acts as Dexter & The Moonrocks and others.

Formed in Brooklyn in 2019, wakelee consists of identical twins Alex (vocals/guitar) and David Bulmer (drums) and Elliot Shiang (vocals/bass). They met at a friend's show in New York and immediately bonded over Halal food and music. They have since released an EP, a healthy batch of emo-tinged singles, and their self-titled debut album, produced by Brian DiMeglio (Bartees Strange, Superbloom, Proper) in April 2023. "Doghouse" EP is out this fall.

You could call them genre-fluid. Pretty Crimes creates music that ranges from indie rock to art pop, drawing additional influences from electronic music, country, Motown, and much more. Based out of Raleigh, NC, the band consists of Dan Irving, Em Edgerton, Mike Freeman, and Alan “Chico” Marines. Their first album, You Have Your Mind, explores different sonic territories while searching out the meaning of belief. Their second record, Every Moment All at Once is out now.

Newspaper Taxis, a rock band from Raleigh, NC, has been part of the Triangle music scene since 2022. Ben Armstrong handles vocals and guitar, with Stephen Catalano on bass, Matios Kubbs on drums, and Eddie Czuba on lead guitar. Their music is a mix of influences, giving them a unique sound that’s a bit of British Invasion, a dash of post-punk, and a little power pop. Inspired by both cult classics and household names, Newspaper Taxis has carved out a style that’s all their own
