416 W South St, Raleigh, NC
Taylor Sharp is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Raleigh, NC. He describes his music as retro jangle pop inspired by bands like The Smiths, Belle and Sebastian, and The Beach Boys. He has been releasing music since 2022, and has explored various styles in the indie/alternative genre, more recently taking heavy inspiration from jazz, psychedelic rock, and folk. Outside of his bedroom studio, he has played local shows both solo and with his band, the Sharpies, which features his sister Maryssa Sharp on drums, Charlie Bird on guitar, and Libby Miller on bass.
Breakaway is a woman fronted 5 piece band that delivers a mix of Classic and Alt Rock to Raleigh North Carolina. In the Fall of 2023, 5 teens inspired by bands ranging from Led Zeppelin to Paramore to Radiohead constructed Breakaway with the goal of joining and contributing to their local music scene. Since then Breakaway has played all over the Raleigh Durham Chappel Hill triangle. Prepare yourself for a high-energy performance of catchy covers, unique original music, and of course, killer solos that are sure to please both young and experienced ears.
An avid pursuer of sonic authenticity, Sam Underwood blends musical elements from various genres such as soul, rock, pop, and country in order to "fit the feeling" of every song he writes. Performing both solo and full band shows in and around North Carolina, Sam has audacious aspirations to create sonic waves throughout the sphere of contemporary popular music.
